Sun Valley Park Swim Party 2006
A few months ago, I got a wild hair & decided to rent out the local water park and host a swim party. It hasn't rained in about two months, and when I woke up Saturday (swim party day), it was overcast and raining. Oh great!
Luckily, the skies cleared around 1:00, and it was somewhat sunny for our 6:30 swim party. And wouldn't you know it....a big storm rolled in around 9:30, so the weather held out just long enough. I was dreading rescheduling 200 party guests for another day.
Reese loved having Daddy, Mommy, Austen, & Sissy at the water park. Although the park is geared more towards the Under 10 crowd, I think everyone enjoyed themselves. Two of Jessie's friends came, so we didn't get to see much of her! Reese thought it was great fun to watch Austen & Daddy come down the waterslides. We ended up leaving earlier than planned because the storm was rolling in, and there was NO sun, and a breeze....so we were all cold!!!! We did have a great time all together though....as always!
