The Worst Daughter...Ever

Luckily, Grammie is a good sport. I taught her how to play the Maze Game online...but I just so happened to pull up the Maze Game that shows a scary face and screams at you midway through the game....

Love you Grammie! :)

This is post #400 for the Williams Family Blog. Who the heck knew I had so much to say? In honor of number 400, we're having a skating party! I remember going to the skating rink as a kid with daycare & how much I hated those brown rental skates with the broken laces...

The video below is not for little ears :) Happy Skating!

Reaching Into My Circle Of Friends For Advice...

Reaching into my circle of friends for advice is likely to get me injured or perhaps contract rabies.

Take, for example, my friend Holly. A sweet little birdy was trapped in her house. Instead of opening the door and letting it fly out, Holly first grabs the camera, which also means she grabbed an accomplice and then proceeded to make an instructional video on how to catch a bird in the house!

The final result was a success, but you'll want to watch the video for finer aspects of achieving such great feats. And then watch it again 'cause the music is funny. Silly Holly, thanks for the laughs!

I've Kept My Mouth Shut Until Now

If you've got your own ideas & strong beliefs, say it, damn it. When you're reading from a script & the magic script goes away...you get this.

Still One Of My Favorite YouTubes EVER...

This perfect video called "Mom My Ride" is still, after all this time, one of my all-time favorite YouTube videos. I swear, my car ends up looking like this more times than I care to admit...

Burnin Down The House...

Reese & I had this brilliant idea that we were going to put enough candles on Daddy's birthday cake to represent each year. I'm not saying how many candles we actually put on the cake, but let's just say there were *a few*.

Then, at the store while purchasing said candles, Mommy showed Reese trick candles! He was all about surprising Daddy with candles that he can't blow out. Mommy decided that we needed two packages of trick candles, making a total of 20 trick candles on the cake, to go along with the other regular candles that would add up to Daddy's age.

I swear our fire alarm is broken...it didn't do anything after this:

Dollywood, Here We Come!

Last week, we took our first family road trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We traveled all those miles to take Jessie to Dollywood...which she didn't know about!

While Dollywood wasn't all that fantastic, the road trip was a blast & we all had so much fun together :)

Happy Father's Day

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it ... Dad
