I Got A Blog Troll! Goody Goody!

So I got an Anonymous Blog Troll...not a very smart one. I think "Shannon" needs a hug today....

Shannon has left a new comment on your post "Let's Look At The Statistics":

WOW. You have got to be kidding me. I have read your blog and how dare you (a woman who has married a much older man with money and popped out his kid)cast stones at "poor people." You have no CLUE as to what NORMAL people deal with on a daily basis. Just keep doing what you know how to do...not working...going to Disney World a million times a year because you are "teaching" your child...sitting at your computer countless hours to update your BLOGS as to what your family is doing (by the way - might want to get a speech therapist working with your son)Honestly- you need to just - SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!

Shannon did not counter the stats as they are from the census bureau..Maybe Shannon can flame them...By the way, your husband is not that old.

By the way, the original poster of those stats and comments is Dr. Mark J. Perry, a professor of economics and finance in the School of Management at the Flint campus of the University of Michigan.

I'll bet he is rich, so according to Shannon, he should SHUT THE HELL up and go to six flags or the mall or something like that right?

Maybe his mom has cancer or something shannon could mock.

One more thing, this article was a discussion of class warfare that many lib politicians engage in when they demagogue both the 'rich' and 'poor' and how disingenuous many of their arguments are when they want to justify their desire to 'spread the wealth'. The real goal to 'grow the govt." does not sell as well.

Only a screaming lib would fail to see the message and attack the messenger...and their family. Of course 'shannon' is such a coward that posting was anonymous.

That is, as anonymous as you can be when you leave an IP Address.

I apologize for my comment to you. Your blog was just very upsetting to me.

I am so sorry that this person attacked you personally so viciously! It was beyond uncalled for and childish. And while you and I have different views of things, I really like you A LOT and very much respect your views and YOU as a person. One of the things that makes democracy so great, is that we can disagree but still be friends with people. We can have conversations, without getting to the point of just plain meanness. She is perpetuating all the hate, bigotry and divisiveness that we need to work on. We have got to hold people up, instead of tearing people down, hold people accountable for their actions and EDUCATE people about humanity and tolerance! Thank you for being a light to me...

At least she was gracious enough to apologize. That takes balls.

On another note, I don't think people should be punished for being rich and succeeding. Not that success has just to do with money, but people work hard for it. They should enjoy it and not have to be mocked because they have it.

There are two kinds of pride. Looking down on the poor because you think you're better, and the poor looking up, and criticizing those who have what they don't. People forget about the latter form.
