I saw in a magazine recently a neat idea for wrapping Christmas gifts & I thought we'd give it a try this year.
You take long pages of paper, paint them with red & green random patterns (which is ideal for Reese's talent!). Then, once it's dry, you cut them into 1" strips to use as "ribbon". You wrap gifts with solid color paper & the homemade ribbon really stands out.
In the place of a bow, you cut out a shape (flower, circle, star) from your artwork & place it where a bow would go. Then you top the shape with a small pompom ball or tiny bow.
In the magazine, it looked REALLY cute, & I found a stash of solid green wrapping paper that I purchased last year. So we'll give it shot & see how it goes!
